Goodbye, Ken

It is with great sadness that I write of the passing of Ken, Karen’s husband, who fought the good fight for two and a half years before succumbing.

Karen, you and your family are in our thoughts.   Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

So sorry to hear the sad news. Thinking of you, Karen.

  2. Karen says:

Thank you so much. It’s such unfamiliar territory. There seems to be some new lesson everyday. At some point yesterday, I realized I can’t fix this. It came as a shock. It’s been a very odd experience so far.

  3. Miko says:

I have been thinking of you all day. Don’t hesitate to let me know if there is anything at all I can do.

  4. Petra says:

Karen, my thoughts are with you constantly…

I can only offer my help in any way you would want it. Let me know.

  5. Karen says:

I’m actually doing better than I expected. I went to Houston this last weekend to stay with long-time friends. A group of us gathered Sat. night. It was not sad, it was healing and lovely. Now we have to tackle all the paperwork and sorting out things. Ugh.

  6. Petra says:

Thanks for the good news re. your emotional state. I hope there will be no set-back. Tackling paperwork is a drag – but it does tend to keep one from brooding, I found.
