Look out! Here comes the Spidertrain

I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve only ever ridden one of these (the Spiderman one, on my way to Universal Studios Japan). But this site shows only a small sampling of crazy train designs in Japan, so I don’t feel that I’m missing out. Quite a few private train lines change their look at certain times of the year … or at certain big business openings, such as IKEA (very close to where I live). Right now the monorail is all lit up with Christmas lights, along with the rest of Kobe and most cities in Japan. It’s hard not to get into the Christmas spirit here.

Now those are just fascinating. Are there any HK trains?

Trains, planes, and automobiles, we’ve got ‘em all.
Actually I’ve just realised why there are so many suicides here. Most likely they take one look at a garish Hello Kitty train pulling up at the station for their morning commute and decide that they can’t take any more. What a way to go, eh?

Or, perhaps it fractures male psyches to have to ride in HK trains or pink trains, and they become gender confused and off themselves as a result.
